The long, narrow spines of the agustinia make it look so unique that it is impossible to mix up with any other dinosaur.
It was also covered with unusual-looking ossified skin plates. As a harmless herbivore it probably needed the spines and plates to protect against other carnivorous dinosaurs. The agustinia is also always ready to defend itself!
